Kamarottu village’s name appeared on movie RangiTaranga. RangiTaranga is a Indian Kannada-language mystery thriller film, released in year 2015. RangiTaranga’s story is set in Kamarottu, a fictional village in the coastal region of Karnataka. Many people searched about the village ‘Kamarottu’ on internet after watching the movie Rangitaranga, but there is place named ‘Kamarottu’ till 2022. Maybe in future, people call some place as Kamarottu.
In the year 2022, another Kanada movie released, Vikrant Rona. Vikrant Rona movie’s story also based in the fictional village Kamarottu. Both the movies, RangiTaranga and Vikrant Rona was written and directed by Anup Bhandari.
