Emraan Hashmi, who is getting ready for his new OTT show called Showtime, recently said in an interview with Janice Sequeira that his wife Parveen Shahani wants to “leave” him. Do you know why? Emraan Hashmi revealed that he has been eating the same meal for two years. His wife doesn’t like what he eats, and she has been jokingly threatening to divorce him because of it. Emraan told Janice Sequeira, “My wife says she will leave me. She keeps joking about it, but she hasn’t done it yet. She doesn’t like the food I eat, and I’ve been eating the same diet for two years now. It includes salad with avocado, brussels sprouts, lettuce, rocket leaves, keema, and sweet potatoes. I eat this for both lunch and dinner.”

Emraan admitted that his eating habits upset Parveen, but because he wants to stay fit, he doesn’t want to change what he eats. He said, “I just stick to sweet potatoes. So, I have two staple meals every day, and it’s the same thing every day. It’s very boring, but I have chicken keema, because it’s easy to digest and boiled. Then, I have salad and sweet potatoes. My cook prepares it and makes it for the whole week, and we eat it throughout the day.”

Last year, Emraan Hashmi acted alongside Salman Khan in Tiger 3 for the first time. Emraan Hashmi received praise for his role as the villain Aatish Rehman in Tiger 3. Emraan Hashmi recently said that he doesn’t call Salman Khan “bhai” like most people in the industry do. He mentioned this while talking to Connect FM Canada. He said, “I might not call Salman bhai, but I consider him a brother and a friend. I don’t need to say it out loud or put a label on it because other people call him that.”

He also said, “Respect doesn’t just come from words; it comes from your actions. You show respect through your behavior. I truly believe in this, and it’s how my family taught me. I respect everyone equally and don’t treat people differently on a film set. I have respect for all. It’s because of my upbringing and family background.”

Emraan and Parveen have been married since 2006 and have a son named Ayaan Hashmi. Ayaan is a cancer survivor who was diagnosed with cancer when he was just four years old. After five years of treatment, he was declared cancer-free. Emraan is known for his roles in movies like Zeher, Aashiq Banaya Aapne, Gangster, Jannat, Tum Mile, Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai, and many more.
