Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor has ruled the Bollywood movie industry for over two decades, now set to step into the world of OTT. Kareena Kapoor will be making her OTT debut on Netflix. The Netflix film will be directed by Sujoy Ghosh. The film is the screen adaptation of the global bestseller, “The Devotion of Suspect X“. Kareena Kapoor will also share the screen with Jaideep Ahlawat(Jai Kishan Ahlawat) and Vijay Varma. Netflix India shared this news on their Twitter handle.
Kareena Kapoor also shared the news on her social media account and wrote, ” And so it begins, 12th Street Entertainment & Northern Lights Films in association with Boundscript and Kross Pictures present a Netflix Original directed by Sujoy Ghosh. Sujoy Ghosh is known for directing thrillers like Kahaani, Kahaani 2: Durga Rani Singh, Te3n, Bob Biswas and Badla, said he is excited to adapt the acclaimed Keigo Higashino novel for the film. Sujoy Ghosh also tweeted about his project with Kareena Kapoor, Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma.
The Netflix film is produced by 12th Street Entertainment, Northern Lights Films in association with Boundscript and Kross Pictures. As per the source, Sujoy Ghosh will also serve as a producer along with Jay Shewakramani, Akshai Puri, Ghosh and Thomas Kim.
