Jawan, directed by Atlee and featuring Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, and Vijay Sethupathi in lead roles, was released on September 7. The film has been performing exceptionally well at both the domestic and global box offices. As per film trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan, Jawan has crossed the ₹900 crore gross mark worldwide and is now close to reaching ₹900 crore globally. The movie has been released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.

Jawan earned ₹75 crores on its first day of release, followed by ₹53.23 crore on the second day, ₹77.83 crores on the third day, ₹80.1 crores on the fourth day, ₹32.92 crores on the fifth day, ₹26 crores on the sixth day, ₹23.2 crores on the seventh day, ₹21.6 crore on the eighth day, and ₹19.1 crores on the ninth day and so on (Check the chart for day wise earning). According to Red Chillies Entertainment, the movie has collected a global box office gross of Rs 937.61 crore up to this point.
Shah Rukh Khan expressed his joy during a press conference, saying, “It’s a celebration. We rarely get a chance to live with a film for years. The making of Jawan has been going on for four years due to Covid and time constraints. There were a lot of people involved in this film, especially people from the South who came and settled in Mumbai and have been living in Mumbai for the last four years and working day and night for this film, which is the hardest work ever.”
Apart from the main cast, the film also features special appearances by Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt. Gauri Khan produced the film, which is presented by Red Chillies Entertainment and co-produced by Gaurav Verma.
