However, just 10 months into her second marriage, she is now facing separation from her husband, Kenyan businessman Nikhil Patel. The couple’s relationship has quickly turned sour, leading Dalljiet to file a complaint against Nikhil.
Dalljiet, known for her roles in shows like “Kulvadhu,” “Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?” and “Sasural Genda Phool 2,” initially gained popularity on the sets of “Kulvadhu,” where she met actor Shalin Bhanot. The two married in 2009 and had a son in 2014. However, their relationship deteriorated, and in 2015, Dalljiet accused Shalin of domestic violence, resulting in their divorce.
In March 2023, Dalljiet married Nikhil Patel. Unfortunately, this marriage too faced turmoil. Dalljiet returned to Mumbai with her son, Jaydon, citing personal issues initially attributed to her father’s surgery. However, it later emerged that she was experiencing significant marital discord. Dalljiet has accused Nikhil of abuse and breach of trust, filing an FIR against him at Mumbai’s Agripada police station.
Previously, Dalljiet had also filed a case against Nikhil in a Kenyan court, alleging that he and his associates had tried to evict her and her son from their home. Nikhil has responded with counter-allegations of harassment. Dalljiet expressed her gratitude to Mumbai police on Instagram for registering the FIR, highlighting her ongoing struggle.
