Expressing her happiness, Sonakshi said, “I’m extremely happy because this is something I was waiting for a very long time now and now I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be. It feels like being home, finally. I enjoy spending time with Zaheer, and we are truly best friends. I love being at work, being my own person, and then coming home to him. I wish it had happened sooner, but better late than never.”

On publicly expressing her love, she said, “It’s relieving. I feel so light, I can’t tell you. Because you’re in love with the person and you want to tell everyone. I used to feel like, it’s such a cute picture, I need to post it but I can’t post it.” Saqib Saleem added humorously, “One would always see that green circle around her story and be like, ‘Oh, Zaheer and Sonakshi’s photo has come up.'”

Referring to a previous incident where Sonakshi launched her nail brand and shared a picture with a ring, Aditya Sarpotdar mentioned he initially thought she was announcing her engagement to Zaheer. Laughing, Sonakshi clarified, “By the way, that shoulder was also his.”
