Yash Kumar Mishra aka Yash Kumarr is a famous name in the Bhojpuri film industry. He was born on September 29, 1986, in Gonda, Uttar Pradesh. Yash Kumar Mishra began his career as a singer and later transitioned into acting. He used to work under Sunil Shetty’s Film Production Company as an Assistant Director.

During his time at Sunil Shetty’s Film Production Company, Yash Kumar Mishra met producer Deepak Shah, which eventually led him to start working in Bhojpuri films in 2013. His first film was “Dildaar Saanwariya,” where he played the main character/hero. Notably, “Dildaar Saanwariya” was the first Bhojpuri film to introduce South Indian-style action sequences under the director’s guidance.

Yash Kumar Mishra belonged to a middle-class family. He was unable to tell anyone in his family that he wanted to become an actor. On request, Yash Kumar Mishra also performed the “Launda Naach” at weddings during his early years. Since he hailed from a rural area, he never openly expressed his interest in becoming an actor. He faced a 10-year struggle in Mumbai before finally getting his first break in the movies as an actor. During his struggling days, he also sold CFL bulbs by the roadside and even planned to become a taxi driver to sustain his life in Mumbai. He became famous for his first movie “Dildaar Saanwariya” and earned the name ‘Gussel bala hero’.

What’s even more interesting is that Yash Kumar Mishra was married to the renowned Bhojpuri actress Anjana Singh. They both have a child named Aditi. Anjana Singh was Yash Kumar Mishra’s first wife, but they later divorced. Subsequently, Yash Kumar Mishra married Nidhi Jha. Nidhi Jha proposed to Yash Kumar Mishra in 2018, and they tied the knot in 2022. Interestingly, before becoming a heroine, Nidhi Jha worked as an item song performer. Yash Kumar Mishra later cast her as a heroine under Yash Kumar Mishra Entertainment.
